This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Is it the best sushi I’ve had? No. But it’s decent for the price and location. My main issue was with the service. My sashimi appetizer (“Chef’s Omakase Appetizer”) took well over 20 minutes and when it finally got to my table, there’s no soy sauce. Then they took away my chopsticks and sauce plate (spilled the soy sauce too btw and never cared to clean it), so I was left with no utensil and no soy sauce (again) for the entree sushi.

The best sushi I think I've had (and I've traveled and had lots!) the atmosphere, service and food was all amazing. The lychee Martini was light and delicious. The "fantastic roll" was named perfect!

I can’t believe I’ve neglected to leave a review for this place. I thought I had. My wife and I have been coming here since it opened and never had anything less than a 5 star experience. Date nights, group dinners, friend’s nights out this place is perfect for every occasion. Food in general: Always delicious with a rotating menus. Our latest favorite is the salmon skin salad, and our mainstay is the crispy rice & tuna. Sushi: Fresh and delicious every single time. Great variation of different fish (I’m partial to the yellow fin) and rolls. Drinks: Always stellar with a rotating list. They make a great old fashioned. Cocktails can be pricey, but they are pricey everywhere. Definitely take advantage of the happy hour $11 cocktails and 1/2 off wine. Service & Atmosphere: Place is huge and there’s lots of space between tables so every visit feels special and intimate. Servers are always personable and delightful. *Extra Points for the staff member that was just playing all of Timeless by Kaytranada last night. I see you 👀🙌🏻

What an absolutely exceptional and memorable dining experience at 698 Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, I was genuinely impressed—not only by the ambiance, but by the thoughtfully curated and expansive happy hour menu, which offered an incredible variety of sushi selections that were nothing short of outstanding. The espresso martini was perfection—beautifully balanced with just the right touch of Baileys, making it both smooth and indulgent. Every bite of food was a delight, but the smoked toro with truffle was truly next-level—elegantly presented and completely melt-in-your-mouth. The Angry Lobster roll and Manhattan roll were equally exquisite, each delivering bold flavor and flawless execution. And just when I thought the experience couldn’t get any better, the raspberry mousse dessert was the perfect finale—light, airy, and bursting with flavor. It was the kind of dessert that leaves a lasting impression and ends the meal on a beautifully elevated note. What truly elevated the evening, however, was the impeccable service. Our server, Kiki, was attentive, warm, and intuitive, ensuring every detail was just right. The experience was further enhanced by the presence of t

Visited this restaurant with my sister for the first time tonight and I was impressed! We ordered an Angry Lobster Roll to share (instead of a starter), and while we've had our fair share of sushi throughout our lives, this was BY FAR the most delicious sushi we have ever had. It was presented beautifully and tasted extremely fresh. We ordered two different mocktails (blackberry and kiwi), and could not decide which one was better. Our server, Audrey, added on the experience with her friendly and accommodating vibes. She recommended two items on the menu, so we went with one of them. We both ordered hibachi. The portions are beyond enough for the price, which is something I admire. The atmosphere was elegant and cozy, and it provided a warm and welcoming experience. I would definitely come back to 698 to try out some of their other sushi rolls!
